It is with great sadness that we learn the news of the sudden passing of our esteemed keynote speaker Ulrich auf dem Keller from DTU Department of Biotechnology and Biomedicine. His contributions to the matrix biology field and support for the DSMB were invaluable, and he will be greatly missed. In his memory, we are honoured to welcome Prof. Anthony Day (Wellcome Centre for Cell-Matrix Research and Lydia Becker Institute of Immunology and Inflammation, University of Manchester, UK) as our new keynote speaker. We extend our gratitude to him for stepping in, and we carry forward with a commitment to uphold the spirit of learning and inspiration that Ulrich brought to our community.

We also have three invited speakers, Neel Nissen (Nordic Bioscience, DK), Joan Chang (Wellcome Centre for Cell-Matrix Research, UK) and Michal Dudek (The University of Manchester, UK).

We encourage all DSMB members to join and submit an abstract. For early career researchers, there will be oral and poster prizes.
